About Us

Welcome, we're glad you're here

Counseling Associates for Well-Being strives to tailor its psychotherapy and counseling services to the unique needs of each individual, couple, or family in our community who seeks treatment with us.

We also feel it is important to meet the needs of non-traditional couples and blended or non-traditional families. We strive to keep up with the most current and effective treatments available. We believe that as mental health professionals, our own self-awareness and unique life experience enhance our capabilities and empathy to best serve our clients.

Let's Get Started

Together we can work to help equip you with the necessary tools to help you face and overcome your challenges.

Couples & Relationships

Relationships are central to our well-being. When our closest relationships feel strained, distant, confusing, or painful, it can affect almost every part of life. Whether you are seeking couples therapy with a romantic partner, working through family conflict, navigating a difficult co-parenting relationship, or wanting to better understand your patterns in relationships, therapy can offer a supportive place to slow down, communicate more clearly, and begin to reconnect.

Trauma & EMDR

Trauma can make the world feel unsafe. Whether one has experienced a car accident, a traumatic death of a loved one, life threatening event, violence, war,  or abuse, this can lead to post traumatic stress. Other experiences such as being frontline emergency workers and responders or emotional traumas in relationships, sudden or chronic illness, religious/spiritual trauma or other traumatic experiences can also bring great distress that is hard to manage on your own.

Anxiety & OCD

Do you miss out on what’s happening around you because you are worrying about what might happen next?  Constant images and thoughts about things we can’t get out of our minds keep us from enjoying what’s right in front us.  Anxiety can leave us with sweaty palms. It can steal our breath. It can make us grind our teeth at night and pick our skin or pull our hair out.  We might imagine something happening to our loved ones, or we might go over and over our anxious scenes from the past in which we replay our most socially awkward moments.
